Richard Shin

Richard Shin has been a part of the DCMC community since 2011 as an attending member of the EM Ministry at that time. Richard has served in various areas of ministry including as a youth teacher for 10 years, a member of the praise team, and currently as the chairperson of the Servant Leadership Council at RockSpring Church. Raised in a Christian home, Richard committed his life to Christ during a youth retreat but has had many challenges along the way. Through the hills and valleys of life, Richard has understood that without Christ he is absolutely nothing. God has revealed to Richard that everyday there must be full surrender to God Almighty and a desperate need for Him. Richard is a co-owner of a family business in Dallas with his Dad and Uncle. He strives to show the love of Christ to each person that comes into his store daily through his actions. Now, as part of the Rockspring Church, he eagerly awaits what God has planned for his children and faithfully trusts that God will continue to grow his body of saints to be people of prayer and love. His prayer is that many will come to RockSpring Church to be filled with the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
