Dear Church Family,
As we step into a new year, we are also stepping into something new that God is doing among us. In the coming days, we will begin a new 11:00 AM worship service—a fresh expression of our shared desire to seek the Lord, to listen to His voice, and to respond faithfully to His leading. New beginnings always carry a mixture of emotions. There is excitement and hope, but there can also be uncertainty and even fear. Stepping into something unfamiliar requires courage. Yet Scripture reminds us again and again that God’s people have never walked into the future alone. Wherever God calls us to go, He goes before us—and He walks with us. The Bible is filled with moments when God’s people stood at the edge of something new. Each time, God did not promise the absence of challenges, but He did promise His presence. That promise remains true for us today. As we begin this new worship service, we do so with confidence—not in our own strength or plans, but in the faithfulness of God who has been with us every step of the way.
This new service is not about replacing what was, but about responding to what God is doing now. It is an invitation to trust Him anew, to worship with open hearts, and to make room for the Holy Spirit to move among us. It is also an opportunity for us, as one RockSpring Church family, to grow together in faith, unity, and love. If you feel anticipation, give thanks to God. If you feel nervous or unsure, bring those feelings honestly before Him. God meets us not after we have everything figured out, but right in the middle of our questions and our obedience.
As your pastor, I want you to know this: we are not rushing ahead of God, nor are we stepping out alone. We are moving forward prayerfully, humbly, and trustingly—believing that the same God who has carried us through the past will guide us into the future. We will strengthen our existing 2:00 PM service, while we celebrate new beginning of 11:00 AM service. May this new year, and the worship service here at RockSpring Church, be a place where lives are renewed, faith is strengthened, and God is glorified. Let us move forward together, trusting that the Lord who calls us is faithful—and He will surely be with us. Let us remember the commandment of God; Do Not Let the Fire Go Out in the Tabernacle!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
With gratitude and hope,
Rev. Won Kim
Lead Pastor of RockSpring Church
