Day 19: “Jesus”

Scripture Reading: Matthew 10:34-39

At the center of the Christian faith is not merely a teaching, a tradition, or a moral system, but a person Jesus Christ. Many people are comfortable talking about religion in general, but Jesus Himself does not allow us to remain neutral. When the light of Christ enters our lives, it reveals what is hidden in our hearts and calls us to make a decision.

Some receive Him as the cornerstone upon which they build their lives. Others stumble over Him because His presence challenges their pride, assumptions, and sense of control. The real question for us today is not simply whether we know about Jesus, but whether we have truly received Him.

During this season of reflection, we are invited to move beyond familiarity with Jesus and toward deeper surrender. When Christ becomes the center of our lives, He is no longer a stranger to us but our Lord, our Savior, and our life.

Prayer:

Jesus, I offer my body to you as a living sacrifice, welcoming any tension or turmoil. this may bring in my life. Help me to accept division that originates in faithfulness to you, while honoring and dignifying those who turn against me for your sake.

Grace and Peace,
